Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using DailyMuse ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and DailyMuse.

2. What DailyMuse Provides

DailyMuse is an independent daily puzzle platform offering:

• A fresh set of original puzzles (crosswords, sudoku, word games, and more) refreshed every 24 hours.
• Streak tracking and personal progress history.
• Leaderboard rankings and optional social features.
• A Pro subscription with expanded puzzle access, archives, and streak mulligans.

3. Accounts

Guest play is available without registration. To save progress, you may create a free account using your email address or Google OAuth. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information and keep credentials secure.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
• Take responsibility for all activity under your account.

We do not require, request, or store phone numbers or government-issued IDs.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or automation to manipulate scores, streaks, or leaderboards.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
• Reverse-engineer puzzle generation logic to pre-compute solutions.
• Resell or redistribute Service content without written permission.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

All puzzles, game logic, and original content are owned by DailyMuse or its licensors. Your personal game data (scores, streaks, completed puzzles) remains yours; by using the Service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display it solely for game functionality.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance or unexpected issues may cause temporary downtime. We will communicate planned maintenance in advance where possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DailyMuse SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your settings or by contacting support@crosskit.top. Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. For EU residents, applicable EU consumer-protection law also applies and is not displaced by this clause.
